Reunited and It Feels So Good

We have been hosting Travis’ parents the past few days and feel so blessed to be able to share the experience with them!  The best thing has been seeing Jim go snorkeling/diving with Travis, it seems like they can’t wipe the smiles off their faces!

So if you wonder what it was like for them… Here are some first experiences they’ve enjoyed since arriving: living on the boat with us (and all that entails), conquering some not so flat Sea of Abaco crossings, bonfires on the beach, relaxing floats down mangrove lined inlets,  hiking to bluffs with beautiful ocean views, learning how to clean and get the meat out of ALL of the lobster, discovering an octopus (and various other sealife) while snorkeling, weaving your own bahamian basket, realizing what conch looks like before you eat it (and still trying it), mastering the art of the dinghy ride, walking along beautiful beaches, enjoying local fresh coconut bread, realizing the many vibrant hues of ocean blue, and hearing the conch horns at sundown… Yes this was a great reunion, thanks mom and dad for letting us share some of our favorites with you!
